Data & privacy

Salono is built for businesses in the UK and we aim to meet UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. When you use Salono, we act as a data processor for much of the information you enter about your clients and staff. You remain responsible for what you collect and why, and for telling your clients how you use their data.

We only process personal data to provide and improve the service, to keep accounts secure, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Depending on your relationship with us, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise these or ask a question, email hello@salono.co.uk. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you believe we have not handled your concern properly, you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Security

We design Salono with security in mind: access controls for staff accounts, protection of data in transit using modern TLS, and careful handling of credentials and secrets in our infrastructure.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled according to Stripe’s security standards; we do not store full card numbers on Salono servers for PCI scope in the way a raw card vault would.

No system is perfect. If we become aware of a breach that affects your data, we will notify affected users and regulators where required by law.

Legal

Content on this website (including text and branding) is owned by Salono or used with permission. Please do not copy or redistribute it without consent.

Separate terms will apply when you create an account or subscribe to Salono. Until those are published, enquiries and early access arrangements are as agreed in writing (including email).

These notices are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK and mandatory local protections apply.
