Platforms like Booksy and Fresha have to work for a lot of different businesses. We don't. Salono is for hair salons, aesthetic clinics, and spas, and we're based in the UK. That means we can listen properly, ship things that actually help on the floor, and stay close to the people using the product.
What that looks like in practice
When software tries to serve everyone with a calendar, the details that matter to a colourist or a clinic front desk don't always get the attention they deserve. You end up bending your day around the tool, or paying for three apps that don't talk to each other.
We're not chasing every industry. Salono is aimed at how you run appointments, staff, clients, and payments in the beauty world: long services, deposits, rotas, client notes, the bits that matter when someone's in your chair.

We want Salono to feel good for your team and your clients, not just tick boxes for us. While we're in early access, feedback from real businesses carries real weight.

Hair, aesthetics, spas: that's the lane we're in. We'd rather do a solid job for those businesses than spread thin across every kind of appointment under the sun.

If a feature doesn't save time, reduce hassle, or make money clearer, we're not in a rush to ship it. You need something you can rely on when you open up in the morning.
