Inside the platform

The second visit feels
like the tenth.

Profiles, history, notes and photos against every client, visible to the whole team. The detail that used to live in one person’s head, or one battered notebook, becomes part of the business.

The problem it exists to fix.

The client history lives in someone’s head.

Formulas, preferences, allergies, the story about the wedding. When that person is off sick or moves on, the relationship resets to zero and the client feels it instantly.

Paper records are a liability, not a system.

Record cards go missing, get spilled on and cannot be searched. And when a client asks what data you hold on them, a shoebox is not an answer.

How Salono handles it.

01

Everything against the client

Visit history, spend, services, notes and forms in one record, so anyone on the team can pick up the relationship mid-sentence.

02

Notes and tags that work

Colour formulas, patch-test dates, preferences and warnings, searchable and filterable rather than scribbled.

03

Photo timelines

Before-and-after photos filed against the visit, building a visual history of the work you have done together.

04

GDPR, handled

Clean export of a client’s data on request, and records held properly rather than in a drawer.

What it looks like in practice.

01

Bring your clients in

Import your existing list by CSV, free, or let the managed migration service carry it across for you, history included where your old platform allows it.

02

The record builds itself

Every booking, payment, note, form and photo files against the right client automatically. Nobody is doing data entry at 7pm.

03

Open the chair-side story

Before the client sits down, you can see the last formula, the patch-test date and what was said last time. The conversation continues instead of restarting.

Questions, answered.

Q. Can I bring my existing client list into Salono?
A.

Yes. The CSV import is free with every plan and maps your existing client records, including notes, into Salono. A managed migration service is available for a quoted fee.

Q. Can the whole team see client notes?
A.

Yes, subject to the permission roles you set. Notes travel with the client, not the stylist, so cover days and staff changes do not lose the history.

Q. How does Salono help with GDPR requests?
A.

A client’s full record can be exported cleanly on request, and your data remains yours to export at any time, including if you decide to leave.

Q. What happens to my client data if I leave?
A.

You export it cleanly and take it with you. Your data is yours, and there is no exit fee and no lock on it.

Q. Can clients be tagged or grouped?
A.

Yes. Tags and segments let you group clients however you think about them, from colour clients to lapsed regulars.

Works hand in hand with forms & questionnaires, reporting, reminders.

Built around you,
not the other way round.

Salono launches in August 2026. We are working with a small number of industry professionals to shape the platform before then. Add your business to the early access list and we will be in touch.

The Salono difference
01

Built from inside the industry

We come from the salon floor. The daily challenges are not research for us, they are background. Salono is the software we wished we had.

02

Designed against the admin

Every feature exists to take a job off your evening. Less reception, fewer spreadsheets, less chasing. More chair time, more clients, more revenue.

03

Shaped by independent owners

The roadmap is what owners ask for, in the order they ask for it. Not what we think they need. Your feedback decides what ships next.
