Inside the platform

Cancellations stop being
lost income.

Clients opt in for earlier slots. The moment one frees up, Salono offers it to the right person first. The gap fills itself while you carry on working.

The problem it exists to fix.

A cancellation starts a race you usually lose.

Posting the slot on stories, messaging likely clients, hoping someone bites before 2pm. By the time anyone replies, the slot has gone cold.

Demand exists, it is just unorganised.

There are clients who would have taken that slot gladly. Without a list of who wants what and when, that demand is invisible exactly when you need it.

How Salono handles it.

01

Per-service, per-stylist

Clients join the waitlist for the specific service and stylist they want, with the time windows that work for them.

02

Auto-offer on cancellation

When a slot frees up, the best-matched client is offered it automatically. No stories post, no scramble.

03

One-tap claim

The client claims the slot from the message, pays any deposit your service requires, and lands in the diary.

04

Fair and orderly

Offers move down the list on your rules, so the slot fills quickly and nobody feels queue-jumped.

What it looks like in practice.

01

Clients raise a hand

From your booking page, clients join the waitlist for the service, stylist and time windows they want.

02

A slot frees up

A cancellation or reschedule opens a gap, and Salono immediately offers it to the best-matched person on the list.

03

The gap fills itself

The client claims it in a tap, pays any deposit, and the diary closes back up while you are still mid-appointment.

Questions, answered.

Q. How does the waitlist decide who gets offered a slot?
A.

The freed slot is matched against the service, stylist and time windows clients asked for, and offered in order. If the first client passes, it moves to the next.

Q. Do deposits apply to waitlist bookings?
A.

Yes. If the service carries a deposit, the client pays it as they claim the slot, exactly as they would booking normally.

Q. What does the client experience look like?
A.

They join the waitlist from your booking page, get a message when a matching slot opens, and claim it in a tap. It feels like being remembered, because they were.

Q. Can I control which services have a waitlist?
A.

Yes. Waitlists run per service and per stylist, so they work where demand outstrips the diary and stay out of the way elsewhere.

Q. What if nobody on the waitlist takes the slot?
A.

The slot simply returns to general availability on your booking page, exactly as it would have been without a waitlist.

Works hand in hand with payments & deposits, reminders, smart bookings.

Built around you,
not the other way round.

Salono launches in August 2026. We are working with a small number of industry professionals to shape the platform before then. Add your business to the early access list and we will be in touch.

The Salono difference
01

Built from inside the industry

We come from the salon floor. The daily challenges are not research for us, they are background. Salono is the software we wished we had.

02

Designed against the admin

Every feature exists to take a job off your evening. Less reception, fewer spreadsheets, less chasing. More chair time, more clients, more revenue.

03

Shaped by independent owners

The roadmap is what owners ask for, in the order they ask for it. Not what we think they need. Your feedback decides what ships next.
