Inside the platform

Every penny lands
in your account.

Deposits at booking, card on file for no-show cover, and payments that go straight to your own Stripe account. We never take a cut of a booking, and we never hold your money.

The problem it exists to fix.

A no-show with nothing on the line costs you everything.

When there is no deposit and no card on file, the entire cost of a missed appointment lands on you. On long, high-value bookings, that is a serious hole in the week.

Chasing money is not part of the job you signed up for.

Awkward payment conversations, no-show invoices that never get paid, bank transfers that never arrive. Money handling should be settled before the client sits down.

How Salono handles it.

01

Deposits, per service

Set a deposit on the services that need one and leave quick appointments deposit-free. Taken at booking, deducted from the final bill.

02

Card on file

A card held securely at booking means a no-show or late cancellation is covered by your policy, not absorbed by your day.

03

Straight to your Stripe

Payments settle directly into your own Stripe account. Salono never holds your money and never takes a percentage.

02

Set your money rules

Deposits per service, your no-show and late-cancellation policy, and what a card on file may be charged. Decide once, apply always.

03

Money sorts itself

Deposits arrive with bookings, no-shows are covered by policy rather than goodwill, and the awkward conversations mostly stop existing.

Questions, answered.

Q. What are the card processing fees?
A.

Online card payments carry the standard Stripe fee of 1.5% + 20p per transaction, paid to Stripe. Salono adds nothing on top and takes no commission.

Q. Can I require deposits on some services but not others?
A.

Yes. Deposits are set per service, so you can protect long colour appointments or peak Saturday slots while leaving quick trims deposit-free.

Q. Do I have to take online payments at all?
A.

No. You can run Salono entirely with in-person payment and never switch on card payments. Online payments are an opt-in for deposits, no-show cover and pre-pay.

Q. When do I receive the money?
A.

Payments settle into your own Stripe account on Stripe’s standard payout schedule, typically a few working days. Salono never holds your funds.

Q. Can clients pay the balance in person?
A.

Yes. Deposits come off the final bill, and the balance can be taken in person however you usually take payment.

Works hand in hand with waitlists, reminders, smart bookings.

Built around you,
not the other way round.

Salono launches in August 2026. We are working with a small number of industry professionals to shape the platform before then. Add your business to the early access list and we will be in touch.

The Salono difference
01

Built from inside the industry

We come from the salon floor. The daily challenges are not research for us, they are background. Salono is the software we wished we had.

02

Designed against the admin

Every feature exists to take a job off your evening. Less reception, fewer spreadsheets, less chasing. More chair time, more clients, more revenue.

03

Shaped by independent owners

The roadmap is what owners ask for, in the order they ask for it. Not what we think they need. Your feedback decides what ships next.
